How to get to the departure:

from the state road n° 29 at Cadibona. When you get level with the S.M.S. Of Cadibona turn into Via Bricco in the direction of the old elementary school. Go past the school, which in part has been made into an excursion refuge, following the wooden sign- posts, keep to the left where the road forks and after walking for about a kilometre on this rough road which can be also be used by cars and even mini-buses. You will come to where the walk officially starts off.

toilets are available at the Rifugio Cadifugio (in the old primary school) There are special hygienic facilities for the disabled, assembly halls and sleeping arrangements

Note:

the walk ends near the forestry building run by the CFS. But it is without hygienic facilities nor has it electricity or water. Outside the building tables and benches have been installed. The entrance is barred and therefore forbidden to traffic

Description:

the walk starts off on the flat except for a slight rise right at the beginning although this doesn't exceed 5 %. A wooden fence and a smooth hip level hand rail have been erected along the entire edge of the path on the side of the valley. At the entrance and for the whole length of the walk there are ten or more wooden notice boards with information about the kinds of trees and bushes present in the area. The wording has been chosen with regard to the necessity of those walkers with bad eyesight : in black and white with large characters.
The path surface, on the flat, has been stabilized to facilitate the way for those in wheelchairs. Halfway along the walk there is a bench where one can take a rest. The walk terminates after about 700 metres at the entrance of the CFS barrack building
